In order to respond to
an increasing demand in regional trucking, in 1978 Mr. Jacques
Morin purchased Location Tormont Ltd. With one truck, Mr. Morin
was delivering locally different wood products such as palletts,
soft wood & hard wood and many building materials.

In
1982, with his wife Lise, Mr.morin
created Durocher Transit Inc. Several pieces of equipment were
purchased and for several consecutive years, Durocher Transit had
a moderate growth. |
Economically
the 90's were great and the company took advantage of these roaring
years. Several new pieces of equipment were added to the fleet
and things got bigger.
In the year 2000 new buildings were built to house our
office, our maintenance and warehousing facilities. With over 100
power units, Durocher Transit Inc is now offering a most complete & personnalized
service to all of its customers. |
